Training, supervision, and mentorship are critical to building strong defense teams.  In addition to offering training and feedback on legal strategies, we must prepare attorneys, social workers, and advocates to work with clients in moments of crisis.  At the same time, we must attend to the impact of the work on defenders to prepare them to do the work for the long haul, and guard against burnout.  Our presenters will review strategies leaders and supervisors can employ to promote sustainability on interdisciplinary parent defense teams.
