We all deserve to have our voices heard. Our life experiences reflect our unique needs personally and professionally. The importance of incorporating intersectionality into our everyday practices and policies, will no doubt aid to support our communities. While Maleeka and Linda's upbringings were different, they both come from humble beginnings and have experienced many challenges stemming from poverty and racism. They will share their stories of motivation inspiration. They are two fierce advocates within the public defense community.
