During this presentation, participants will have the opportunity to learn about an alternative to policing for young people of color facing a crisis, mobile response. Next, the presenter will briefly overview the criminal legal and mental health system history and their relationship to racial justice. Then the presenter will provide six principles to create an equitable mobile response system. Finally, the presentation will conclude with an interactive discussion with participants on more ways to develop community safety for Black and brown communities.
