How do we live our values of working for justice, and maintain relationships, in the face of expressions of oppression, such as racism, sexism, and other '-isms' that maintain systems of power. In this interactive workshop, participants will:
- explore how white supremacy, an overarching form of oppression, is infused in American culture and begin to envision an alternative to white supremacy culture
- strengthen communication skills, specifically tools of non-violent communication
- develop and practice strategies for interrupting oppression
