Beverly Schulterbrandt is the Supervising Attorney for the Parental Defense Division – Baltimore County, Maryland.  She rejoined the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in 2013.  From 1998-2002, Ms. Schulterbrandt worked as an Assistant Public Defender and then Supervising Attorney for the formerly known as CINA Division – Baltimore City.  During her career, Ms. Schulterbrandt has represented children and parents in child welfare matters advocating for the reunification of families.  Prior to rejoining the Public Defender’s Office, she worked on judicial and policy reform of the child welfare and juvenile justice systems in Maryland.  Ms. Schulterbrandt is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Maryland School of Law.
